Amegakure Weapons Shop Empty Amegakure Weapons Shop

Post by Ame Weapons Dealer Mon Sep 21, 2015 2:54 pm

This was a strange shop with an even stranger owner. Most of the things in Amegakure no Sato were very open with an air of fun around them and everything was geared towards customer satisfaction. The place was something of a shinobi-run resort town, if such a thing could ever really exist. This man did not fit into this mold, and nor would his shop. He was originally a free lancer in the Land of Rivers, and he managed to get some work. Due to how highly militarized Amegakure no Sato used to be a lot of people would have rather gone through the rough terrain that one would find in the Land of Rivers than risk a life of imprisonment on some Trumped up charge by walking through the Land of Rain. Shortly after the revolution, that changed drastically, choking out what little bit of life that the Land of Rivers had left. Being that he was already a man who had no family to return to or home to which he was attached, he decided to follow the money. What he found was a land of falling water and rising fumes at all times of the day and of the night. It was like he had stumbled through the looking glass and wound up in some mad man's wonderland. In a sense, he had.

Though he was only twenty three, he was viewed as a master of several things pertaining both to building as well as martial arts. His shop was built by him and by him alone. He did not need, request, or even want help in making it. Though he worked with extreme skill, his lack of connection to the local culture was obvious. Though his merchandise was all perfectly with the times, the shop was horribly lack luster. The closest thing that he did to decorating was treat the wood to make sure that the moisture in the air did not ruin it. If one was to walk into his shop, they would find about a ten foot by ten foot space that they could walk freely in. The door through which one would enter would have seven functioning locks for closing and a bell to tell him when a person was walking in.

At the end of the ten feet on which one could walk, there was a counter with a tall gate separating them from the man. The counter space could be lifted up from either side, and this was how the strange man with the white hair and the kimono did most of his business. Everything he needed was neatly organized behind him. The catalog was the only thing a customer could touch with their own hands without paying for, and even that had a shelf it was to be put back on. The owner was a very cautious man, but also a very skilled man. It was said that he had reached high levels in all but one form of Bukijutsu. Because of this he could identify how skilled a person was as well, and give them weapons based upon that. He believed it wrong to trust a weak man with a powerful tool. Another skill of his was building. He was capable of making custom weapons and several other custom items if you tell him what you need and pay him a bit extra. He stood still as ever, listening to the rain, glad to have no customers, but sad to have no revenue.

Amegakure Weapons Shop Empty Re: Amegakure Weapons Shop

Kiyoshi pressed his palm on the wood of the door, taking a deep breath slowly in before he slowly pushed it open. The feel of the wood on such sensitive skin was a very alien thing to a man who had grown up in a land of water and steel. He knew little about how wood worked, but could not help but wonder to himself whether or not the store owner had to do something special to prevent the place from rotting. The wood was indeed treated, but Kiyoshi was so unaccustomed to natural materials that he could not tell that this was treated or changed in any way. The cover that kept this road so very comfortable for people to walk through covered the space between the road and the door way, but only covered a few feet of the shop's roof, letting the rain hit the shingled roof. It was far less musical than what Kiyoshi was used to with a metal ceiling. Normally it sounded like he was waiting out a storm inside of an aluminum can.

He looked at the fluffy headed, white haired, stoic fella behind the counter. There was a gate that came down over top of this counter top as well to make absolutely sure that nobody could reach him. He heard from somewhere that the man who owned the shop was from out of town. He did not remember where, but wondered if this had anything to do with how physically and metaphorically guarded he was. Kiyoshi, the devious creature that he was, was waiting to see if any of his students would be buying their first weapons soon. He moved to the corner, where the entrance wall and the wall to the right met, so that he could see anybody entering before they noticed him. He was curious as to who was going to do what. Most Shinobi eventually, sooner or later really, turned to some form of Bukijutsu.

Amegakure Weapons Shop Empty Re: Amegakure Weapons Shop

Post by Hanatsu Wed Sep 23, 2015 4:26 am

Walking down the street while absentmindedly reading over a small slip of paper Hanatsu had prepared earlier that detailed supplies she thought she might need as a training Shinobi. While she walked she heard something unusual beyond the normal rain upon metal. It sounded softer and smoother when the rain fell upon it. Catching her attention, she immediately slipped the paper into her sleeve and proceeded to find the source of the noise. Slowly following the noise without moving her eyes or head too much as she did not want to appear as if she was lost, Hanatsu eventually found the source of the noise.

She observed what was infront of her, from top to bottom, leaning close to the front door inspecting it thoroughly. After only two minutes, she pressed her hand against the door slowly opening it just enough to peak inside, doing her best not to draw attention if anyone might be inside. Upon looking in, she noticed weapons inside. Being curiously driven she opened the door more and walked in, her eyes scanning the shop left to right as she walked in more, her left arm behind her as she guided the door with her fingers to make it shut softer. "Excuse me, I would like to browse through your wares" she said ignoring the fact there was a white hair man behind a set of bars. Her head slightly moved along with her eyes, as she walked close to each wall she was examining, taking a closer examination of the store. She was very intrigued as to why there was a wood shop in Amegakure. Upon turning around to observe the entrance, her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she saw her teacher Kiyoshi. She stood staring at him not knowing how to react.

Amegakure Weapons Shop Empty Re: Amegakure Weapons Shop

Kiyoshi smiled, lifting an eye brow when the first of his students that he would meet outside of class post graduation ran into him. He, of course, would still be training her up until she reached the rank of Genin, as he was yet to reestablish the Shinobi was a military class with a large enough population for him to sit on his finely kept ass looking over legal documents all day until somebody came along to harm the village who brought enough fire power to cause the Amekage himself to get involved. He really did dread those coming days. He would not be so terribly offended if that day came after his reign.

Knowing from working with the girl that she was not going to have any snappy thing to say even if he had waited a decade or century for her, he decided to be the first one to speak.
"Boo." He felt the message was pretty clear, in spite of the fact that he could not have told you what the message was himself if he were to be, for some odd reason or another, pressed on the issue. He was powerful, dressed in blue silk, had a fancy king hat back home, and could take down anyone in the general area, so he felt that he did not have to have points that could be followed. Maybe soon he would add a beautiful girl to his list of things that made him better than everyone else, but for now, he saw a student and a man willing to sell them weapons and had a better idea. He walked forward a little bit, standing between Hanatsu and the store owner, and started to giggle. "Might I ask what you were planning to purchase? Maybe we could work out a little deal?" Kiyoshi meant nothing sinful by this, but still grinned slyly, hoping he had said the type of thing that could be taken out of context.

Amegakure Weapons Shop Empty Re: Amegakure Weapons Shop

Post by Hanatsu Wed Sep 23, 2015 5:34 am

Knowing the type of man he was she only huffed sightly while glancing over at him. "Why would a teacher want to make a deal with his student? Unless it is something that benefits me as well then I want no part in it." Hanatsu said with a calm tone, as selfish as this sounded, she had little concern for what her drug addict of a teacher thought of her. She shifted her gaze from him to somewhere else in the room that excluded Kiyoshi from her field of view. She turned her head to face him again,"To answer your question, I'm picking up Shinobi supplies. The sound of rain on wood caught my attention and brought me here."

Hanatsu was wearing navy blue spandex that stopped around mid-calf. Her hair "ears" were done up in a more rounded bun like fashion today, still followed by her long strands of braids with one loop. Her top was a darker colored, lavender traditional chinese dress that seemed like it was made for a child due to its length. However, it seemed like it was specifically tailored to her body, as it fit nicely around her chest with a fairly large heart cut in the chest of the dress to accent her cleavage more. A matching patterned navy blue sash wrapped around her waist.

Still glancing about the room taking in every detail she could, she saw a shelf that contained the store's catalog. Walking over and reaching for it, she immediately opened it to browse for a weapon that might interesting her. From a basic bow and arrows, targets, shurikens and kunais, a wooden practice sword, and a bo staff. Slightly disappointed by how small the selection was, Hanatsu eyed each weapon carefully, estimating possible strengths and weaknesses of each. "A bow is nice for long range, but arrow amount and the string seem like draw backs. Every shinobi has at least a kunai and/or shuriken. Swords feel over rated, let alone that sword is just a wooden model. And something that's basically an over rated stick... I'll go with that one, could be fun beating people with a pole." She quickly turned her head to look back at Kiyoshi with expressionless eyes. "What are you planning if I do make a deal with you?"
